What is Downloading and Uploading?

- The process of receiving information from another computer to desired computer is known as downloading. It is the transmission of a file from one computer system to another, usually smaller computer system.
- This is a process of transferring a copy of a file from a remote computer to the requesting computer.
- Uploading:
- Uploading is the transmission of a file from one computer system to another, usually larger computer system.
- From a network user's point-of-view, to upload a file is to send it to another computer that is set up to receive it.
