Defragmentation is the process of rearranging the scattered files and folder and vacant spaces from the disk.
- It rearranges the data on the disk and reunites fragmented files so the computer can run more efficiently.
As the uses of computer, copying and deleting files occurs and the files may be scattered in different location of the disk. This will make computer slow. So make easy access of files on the disk, fragmentation is performed.
