Data Protection and Privacy Law

Privacy means right of individual to own any information and not share it with anybody else. If any person wants his transactions to be secret and doesn't violate any other laws of the state, he should be let to enjoy the right of his privacy.
  • Data protection law is essentially that area of the law that governs what may, and what may not, be done with personal information. Such personal information may be in electronic (eg. stored on a computer) or manual (eg. hand-written) form.
  • Data protection law allows you to check if any organization keeps information about you on computer and to see a copy of this personal data.
  • The right to privacy may be infringed by utilizing private data already collected for a purpose other than that for which it was collected and unauthorized reading of other emails.
