Computer crime (Cyber crime) is any illegal behavior committed by means of, or in relation to, a computer system or network, including such crimes as illegal possession offering or distributing information by means of a computer system or network.
- It also includes traditional crimes conducted through the internet. Some of the criminal activities are destroying data, unauthorized access to the computer system, accessing others data or information illegally, copying and distributing software illegally, E-mail bombing, etc.
And the law to stop this crime is termed as Computer Crime (Cyber Crime) Law.
Some of the effects of computer crime are:
- Security problems.
- Physical theft of the computers and other devices.
- Very less privacy.
- Computer virus easily attack software and programs.
